Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your first chance to create a strong first impression on buyers before they step foot into your home. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers form their initial perception of your home and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance.
Knowing this helps us to decide what plan of action we can use to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't attractive on the outside with refreshed paint and bright greenery we'll need to address those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers picture themselves watching a movie in your living room, reading a good book in your reading nook or getting work done in your home office? We want your home to welcome buyers and give them a sense of easy living. I'll help you achieve this by suggesting small improvements that enhance the features of your home.
I'll advise you put out of sight anything that gives the look of clutter. Counter tops should be clutter-free. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and play time drawings should get stored away too. We need to give mass appeal to the place so buyers can envision it as their new house.
I'll review every room of your home. Changes that directly impact your dollars include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should get rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need washing
Buyers' agents know that their clients want a home that invites them inside. Everything that could be unsightly should go into storage so that your place will have have general appeal while on the market.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when it's time to show your home, because everything comes together to create a picture of what buyers can expect after they close on your house. Shadows are critical and we'll draw back curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests experience your home and ensure a nice fragrance circulates room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking throws, and place pillows on your chairs and bed. Buyers should feel like your current home has the potential to be. |
